About

A CPA who speaks hotel.

This is not a large impersonal firm. It is direct access to a CPA and Certified Fraud Examiner who understands hotel operations from the inside, and built a practice around exactly that.

The practice

Boutique on purpose

Adam K. Beebe CPA PLLC was founded on a simple observation: owners of select-service Hilton and Marriott hotels are served by brands, management companies, and lenders who all speak fluent hotel, and by accountants who usually don’t.

The firm exists to close that gap. Every engagement draws on deep fluency in the financial reporting most accountants never encounter: USALI-structured statements, STR comp-set benchmarking, and the franchise fee and shared-services invoices that arrive from the brands every month.

The model is deliberately personal. We work with a limited number of select-service owners, from single-property owners to growing portfolios, so every client works directly with the principal.

The firm operates nationally, remote-first, and on-site when a project calls for it, working inside the systems your hotels already use. And it stays out of tax by design: accounting and advisory only, so the focus never drifts from hotel operations.

Experience

Background

I started at the front desk. My first hotel jobs were guest service agent and front desk supervisor at a DoubleTree by Hilton, then income audit and accounting work at a full-service hotel in Boston, and accounts payable and payroll at a Marriott in Charlotte. At a Homewood Suites by Hilton, I helped open a new property and later moved into sales and events. Before I ever closed a month, I had worked the night audit, booked the groups, and handled the guest complaints, so I know how a hotel actually earns and spends money before it shows up on a P&L.

From there, I moved into hotel accounting full-time. I managed property accounting for four hotels in Charlotte’s Ballantyne Corporate Park. Then I spent nearly nine years as Director of Property Accounting and Operational Support at Pharos Hospitality, overseeing the accounting for the company’s select-service hotels, a Hampton Inn by Hilton and an Aloft by Marriott. I worked in M3 every day there, and alongside operations on property takeovers, underwriting of prospective acquisitions, and operations analysis.

Most recently, at QuintEvents, I ran the accounting for QuintRooms, its hotel booking business, collecting commissions and rebates from hotels. It showed me the industry from yet another side: what a hotel’s financial relationships look like from the partner’s end of the invoice.

How we work

High-touch is the whole point

  • Direct access

You work with Adam, not a queue or a rotating associate. Every call, every close, every invoice review.

  • Plain language

STR reports, franchise invoices, and USALI statements translated into decisions an owner can act on.

  • Hotel-native

RevPAR, ADR, GOP, comp sets, and brand billing are home turf, not things we look up during your engagement.

  • Relationship-driven

Personal by design. A deliberately limited client roster means your hotels get remembered, not filed.

Personal

Outside the office

I’m a graduate of Florida State University and a big Seminoles football fan. When I’m not buried in a set of financials, you’ll find me running (I’m training for my fifth marathon), cooking, traveling, or watching sports. I live in the Charlotte area with my wife, Carole, and our dog, Norman.

Schedule a consultation

Let’s talk about your hotels.

A consultation is a conversation, not a sales pitch. Bring your latest P&L, your STR report, or a franchise invoice, and leave with a clear picture of where you stand.
